The last of the presents are headed out the door right now. It is such a wonderful holiday feeling knowing that our families, 33 of them, have enough food for the holidays and holiday gifts. A giant thank you to the community for supporting Watkins Mill High School. Your donations truly made a different in the lives of our students. One mom grabbed me and said, “My family was going to get nothing, we are just barely getting by, thank you so much, you don’t know what it means to get this.” Her tears told me that maybe I could imagine what it meant to her.

Thank you one and all. Have a wonderful holiday, and a Happy 2018.

Sincerely,
Carol Goddard, Principal

We have several families that really need help for the holidays. If you are interested in helping you can do it several ways: You can email [email protected] and request some items that you may bring in. Perfect opportunity for re-gifting !
Or you can bring in any of the following items ( wrapped or unwrapped it doesn’t matter)
Scarf ( boys or girls), Gloves ( boys or girls), Socks ( boys or girls), Family board games, Soccer ball, Sweaters ( girls) Sm, M, L, or XL; Boys long sleeve hoodies Sm, M, L or XL: Winter Coat – Men’s or Women’s any size.

We are also suppling food for families over the winter break, we have 10 days where kids will not get breakfast or lunch, so any breakfast items; cereal juice; drinks; Ramon noodles; mac and cheese, spaghetti – anything that can help feed a family on all of those days.

We need the items on 12/20 ( Wednesday) for distribution on 12/21 ( Thursday). Bring it into the main office.
